To install the Canon i-SENSYS LBP2900 driver, follow these steps:
We load the driver, then open this file and after a while a folder will appear in the same folder (the driver will be unpacked), into which you need to go. If you downloaded the drivers for the x32 bit system, then you will have a “32bit” folder (go to it), if you have an x64 system, then open x64 accordingly.
Run the installation by double clicking on the “Setup” file.
In the appeared installation window, click “Next” – “Next”.
The next step is to read the license agreement and confirm your consent. Press the button “Yes” – “Yes”.
We choose the simplest type of installation with a USB connection. To do this, click on the item “Install with USB Connection” and click “Next” – “Next”.
The installer may warn you that you need to change the appropriate Windows firewall settings to view the status of network printers (screenshot below). We agree to change the settings by clicking “Yes”.
It is also necessary to agree that, having started the installation, we will not be able to interrupt it. If you have not changed your mind to install the driver, then click “Yes”.
After that, the installer will continue to configure the driver, telling us to connect the USB cable of the printer to the PC and turn on the printer.
