After installing the driver, the printer may not be detected. To make it work, you need to do the following:
- You need to go to the device manager – software devices.
- Uninstall Canon MF4010.
- Update the configuration – by clicking on the magnifying glass.
Driver Installation in Windows 8
Before starting the installation, turn off the device and disconnect the USB cable that is connected to the computer. Next, you must download the driver (download links are above). Now open the file that you downloaded and after that you will have a new folder (the drivers will be unpacked). After extracting it, go to the “Drivers” – “Russian” folder. There will be a driver installer file named Setup. Start it up.
The setup wizard will open, which will install and configure the printer on your computer. The whole process will take no more than 5 minutes. Click the Next> button to continue installing the driver for your printer.
The program will ask you to read the license agreement that governs the use of this software. Check it out. If you want to continue, then click the “Yes” button to begin the process of installing the driver into your system.
The final stage. The driver is installed. The printer is ready to use. But before doing this, you may need to restart your computer. After the system reboots, turn on the printer and connect the cable to the computer.
