Driver Installation in Windows 8
The process of installing drivers for the Canon PIXMA iP1800 printer may seem rather complicated at first glance, but if you follow the instructions below, you can do it without any difficulties.
First, make sure the printer is connected to your computer with a USB cable. Then download the archive with the driver suitable for your system from our website. Now start the installation process (this is done by double-clicking on the installation file). A window will open in front of you, in which you just need to click on the “Next” button. Do it.
In the next window, you can read the terms of the Canon software license agreement. Accept it by clicking on the “Yes” button.
The installation process will begin and it is not recommended to interrupt. Wait a few minutes while the program copies the necessary files to your computer, then in the next window, click on the “Finish” button.
The system should now automatically find your printer. If it doesn’t, try restarting your computer. This should help as sometimes Windows needs a reboot for the changes to take effect.
Congratulations! Installation has been completed successfully and you can now use your Canon PIXMA iP1800.
