Driver Installation in Windows 10
To use the MFP with a computer, you will need to connect both devices with a cable, and then download the Canon Pixma MP282 driver and install it. This is a special software with which the computer detects connected equipment and configures all the necessary components to work with it. It is issued by the manufacturer for each new MFP model. You can find the download link on the page.
After downloading, you need to open the folder with the distribution kit and double-click on it to start the installation. The installation wizard window will appear. It indicates that it is necessary to disconnect the MFP cable from the PC, close all running programs and click “Next”.
The license agreement will open in the next window. The document must be read carefully and then clicked on the “Yes” button to continue the installation. Clicking on the “No” button will complete the operation.
Next, you need to use a USB cable to connect the MFP to the computer, and then turn it on. The connected device will be detected for a while, then automatic configuration of the required components will start. After the process is complete, the window will close and the user can start working with the printing equipment.
