Driver Installation in Windows 10
The most common reason for contacting Japanese technical support from Canon is problems after installing a new printer. Typically, these problems occur due to improper installation of drivers and lead to partial or complete loss of printing functions. To prevent this from happening, carry out the installation in strict accordance with our instructions.
The first thing to start with is to download the drivers for the Canon PIXMA TR8550 printer. To do this, you can delve into the official website in the appropriate section, or simply click on the hyperlink that is published above. After the download is complete, run the installation file and wait for the start page to load. In it we find a large green button with the name “Start setting” and click on it.
We select the localization for our printing device, for which from the drop-down list we click on “Europe, Middle East, Africa”, and below we select “Russia”. We pass “Next”.
We read the legal provisions that describe how to use the installed program and its components. To accept them, click “Yes”.
We agree with the function of transferring data to the company, which contain reports on the operation of the device. We press “I accept”.
Disable the firewall so that files are not accidentally blocked during installation. We put a tick in front of “Disable blocking” and go to “Next”.
From the options for connecting to a computer, select the one that involves connecting a data cable. We put a mark in front of “USB connection”. Click “Next”.
We connect the data cable from the printer kit and wait 5-7 minutes until the installer completes all the manipulations and prepares the device for work.
You can use a printer.
