Driver Installation in Windows 10
To correctly configure Japanese printers from Canon? Installation of drivers is required. How to do everything correctly and get a working device at the output, we will tell you in our step-by-step instructions. The starting point will be the need to download drivers for the Canon PIXMA TS5040 printer. We do this either via the hyperlink above, or in the corresponding section of the official website. After the download is complete, launch the installer distribution and wait for the main page to load. There we click on the green button “Start setting”.
Selecting geolocation settings. Correctly they will look like this: region of residence – “Europe, Middle East, Africa”, country of residence – “Russia”. We pass “Next”.
We read the terms of the license agreement for the use of intellectual property rights of the company and accept the text by clicking “Yes”.
We allow drivers to collect and send device data to the manufacturer. To do this, click “Accept”.
We temporarily disable the anti-virus software so as not to accidentally block the driver. We put a mark in front of the “Disable blocking” option. Then go to “Next”.
From the proposed connection methods, select the “USB connection” option. We pass “Next”.
Disconnect the data cable (if it was connected), and then click on the “Next” button.
We are waiting for the copying of the new driver files to complete. This usually takes 5-6 minutes.
We connect the data cable to the computer and to the printer, press the power button and wait for the setup to finish. The program will do this on its own.
