Driver Installation in Windows 10
Printers from the Japanese company Canon are known for their reliability and ease of use, however, this does not apply to the initial setup in the system (installation of drivers). There are nuances in the process that can make the device completely inoperative. Details are in our step-by-step instructions.
We start by following the hyperlink at the top of the article to download drivers for the Canon PIXMA TS5053 printer. You can also find them on the official website. Open the downloaded installation file and on the start page select the “Start setup” item.
We select the physical location of the device. Correct choice: region of residence – “Europe, Middle East, Africa”, country – “Russia”. We pass “Next”.
We read about the terms describing the terms of the agreement for the use of software, as well as devices from Canon. We agree to the terms by clicking on the “Yes” button.
We allow the software to transfer data to the manufacturer’s servers by pressing the “Accept” button.
We temporarily suspend the work of antivirus software, put a tick in the “Disable blocking” item. We press the button “Next”.
In the connection method selection window, put a checkmark in the “USB Connection” item. Click on “Next”.
We connect the data cable to the printer in the way shown in the picture – when you are asked to connect it. We pass “Next”.
We are waiting for the completion of copying the new driver files. It takes 7-8 minutes.
Once again, we check the correctness of the data cable connection and press the power button. The program will complete all further actions by itself.
