Driver Installation in Windows 10
In order for the printer from the Japanese company Canon to work error-free, fine-tuning with the installation of the driver is required. It is not always possible to do this without mistakes the first time, since there are many non-obvious nuances in the process. You can read about them in our step-by-step instructions.
The first step is to download the drivers for the Canon PIXMA TS6140 printer. This can be done in the appropriate section on the manufacturer’s website, or simply by clicking on the link located at the beginning of the page. After the download is complete, you must wait until the start page is loaded and click on the green button “Start setup” on it.
Set the geolocation of our device – select the option “Europe, Middle East, Africa”, and select “Russia” from the list below. Click “Next”.
We read the provisions of the legal document on the use of devices and software of the manufacturer. To accept them, click “Yes”.
We allow the program to collect data about the printing device and send it to the manufacturer. For this we press “I Accept”.
Turn off antivirus software and built-in firewall so as not to damage the driver files during copying. We put a tick in the “Disable blocking” item and go to “Next”.
We choose the connection method, which will be the priority. We put a mark in “USB connection”. We pass “Next”.
It remains only to connect the proprietary cable in the way shown in the picture, and then press the power button on the device. After that, the program will complete the necessary actions by itself.
