Driver Installation in Windows 10
Users of Japanese Canon printers are usually most challenged by the initial setup and installation process. This is due to the fact that there are usually no instructions available in Russian, and many pitfalls are hidden in the setup process. In order not to be mistaken, we recommend that you follow our step-by-step guide.
We begin by following the links in the article header to download drivers for the Canon PIXMA TS8040 printer. This can also be done in a special section on the official website. After completing the download of the distribution kit, open it with a double click of the mouse and wait for the main page to load. On this page, click on the green button “Start setting”.
We decide on the localization of the printing device – we need to select “Europe, Middle East, Africa”, and in the table, mark “Russia”. We pass “Next”.
We get acquainted with the main points of the legal agreement – there are described the main points on the use of programs and devices of the company. To accept these conditions, click “Yes”.
It is recommended that you give permission to send printer data to the company’s servers. To do this, click on the “Accept” button.
You will need to disable your antivirus programs and unwanted software blockers to avoid accidentally blocking the driver files. To do this, put a check mark in “Disable blocking” and go to “Next”.
We select the option to connect the printer to the computer – we are interested in “USB Connection”. We pass “Next”.
It remains only to disconnect the data cable as shown in the figure and wait until the program completes all the settings for the printing device on its own.
