Driver Installation in Windows 10
If suddenly you notice that your printer has begun to malfunction or some of its functions have become unavailable – do not worry. All you need is to download the driver Canon PIXMA TS8160 from our website using the link above and install it manually. This often does not take more than five minutes. Recall that the driver is required to communicate with the printer at the software level. After downloading the installed file, you need to run it as administrator – for this, right-click on the file and select the line “Run as administrator” from the context menu.
After a few seconds, the welcome window will start, where you should select the first item “Start configuration”.
Now select the region of residence from the drop-down list – “Europe, Middle East, Africa”. Immediately after that, select the country of your residence – the installation language depends on the selected country. Click Next.
Accept the license agreement by clicking “YES”.
By clicking the “I Agree” button at this stage of the installation, you agree to send a printer error report to Canon.
Add the driver to the Firewall exceptions, this will increase the chance of successful driver installation to 100 percent. Mark the necessary line “Disable blocking” with a tick and click “Next”.
Now you just have to choose the method of connecting the printer to your computer and click “Next”.
All the following operations will take place automatically.
